I'm still new to the whole posting my work online and still have problems with scanning them. Does anyone have suggestions on how to clean up my work and scan it properly? Also any other hints and suggestions would be appreciated.

Well I lost the contest but I am more determined then ever to improve both my drawing and writing skills. I think I will make a small graphic novel and try to publish it. I will post some of my individual pieces here.

Making a poster for my comic will probably finish it some time today. They still haven't announced the winners to the contest. Two weeks after the deadline is a bit long to wait for results to a contest, especially if they don't even say when they will announce the winner.

I've been hard at work for the last few days on my drawing techniques. I should have something worth uploading any day now.

The comic contest is almost over and I am feeling good about my chances. In a few days I can end up being a famous webcomic artist. I am just glad I didn't color my entries because I still don't quite have the hang of copic markers yet.

I don't get it I followed the rules and my work isn't really all that bad, not great but not horrible. So how come I was unscouted?

I was worried that I wouldn't be scouted so this news was really great thanx Tootmania.

I know I don't have the best work but so far no one has offered to scout me and I know I'm not allowed to ask them. I've worked really hard learning how to clean up my drawings in photoshop so I could upload them. My work should be good enough to at least be considered.

Currently I am trying to make a webcomic. I submitted it to a contest to win a contract to make it for the escapist magazine. If I win it will be posted there but if not I am just going to submit it here until I can set up a site.
